Journal Questions for Female PE Class 20/30

1) Please go to the Dieticians of Canada Website: Nutrition Challenge (click on any of these words that are highlighted in blue)

Once there, please complete the challenge. In your journals tell me three things you learned that interested you.

2) Please go to FAQ’s/TIPS/FACTS and click on the article “How to lose weight Without going on a Diet”

in your journal respond to the following questions:

1) what is your initial reaction
2) is the information practical and real? why or why not?
3) what is a challenge you can create from this article–and how can you measure your success?

Now go to One a Day and play the game. Each little picture–for example the coffee mug–once clicked on has information that pops up. Click on each picture and read it. Answer the following three questions for each picture on the game board:

1) what is one thing you just read that sticks out in your mind
2) what is one little thing you could do, in relation to this article, to aid in a healthier lifestyle
3) add another comment or question of your own

Good day classes! Just an update to let you all know that I have been impressed with your commitment to participating in life long activities!!

All Girls Class–we will be at Sterling Fitness all this week at 7:00 a.m. We will be taking part in Pilates with Kristy on M/W/F. As well, I will post some websites and questions that I want you to go to to work on this week’s journal.

Co-Ed Class–we will be meeting at the school on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Please bring your gym clothes to school on Tuesday. Your activity will be announced on Tuesday of this week.

Both Classes: On March 8th (Thursday). You will be having an Arm Wrestling Presentation at school. So please meet during your regular class time outside of my class.

Reminder to all: Your FITNESS CONTRACTS are due this week–I will allow you until Wednesday to turn these in. Thanks, and have a great week!!
